Sonic Order Ahead App

Project Overview 🍔
Sonic Drive-In has been a client of my employer, Capsher Technology. For this project, I assisted in the groundfloor POC (proof-of-concept) UX workflow and design of the Sonic Drive-In 'Order Ahead' mobile app.
My first task as a designer is to refine and colorize the screen layouts given to me by my project manager.
I created these screens in Adobe XD and wireframed them in OmniGraffle.
The next step is repeating iterations of detail on the screens.
I send updates to my project manager, who then responds with their feedback. The process continues until we are happy with the result.
Once we have finalized a workflow, I create a style guide that I handoff to the developers.
During this process, I deliver assets as needed. I create a shareable Google Drive folder and upload the desired assets in PNG or SVG format.
As a team, we created several proof-of-concept videos for the Order Ahead app.

A Successful Launch 🚀
To celebrate the successful handoff to Sonic and completion of the project, I created a painting that was gifted to the corporate offices.
Through our efforts, Sonic Drive-In was able to finalize and successfully launch their Order Ahead mobile app. The app continues to be a driving force for the restaurant to this day.
